1) Apply a Honey Mask
Try applying a honey mask on your face, at least once or twice a week. Honey contains antibacterial properties and is great for healing minor blemishes, while having a disinfecting effect. It is very gentle and great for sensitive skin.
2) Wash Face with Acne Soap
Make sure that you wash your face with a sulfur-containing soap, especially designed for acne. Do this once in the morning and once at night. Apply the soap very gently, do no use rough cloth and do not scrub. Over-washing your skin actually leads to the stimulation of the sebaceous glands, which in turn leads to an increase in acne.
3) Right Nutrition
Acne can also be a sign of an internal misbalance in your body. The health of your skin is totally dependent on nutrition. If the body does not receive the right nutrition, it is likely to produce substances that clog the pores with excessive sebum. Your body also loses the immunity to fight bacteria and heal your skin due to the lack of the needed nutrition.
4) Take Chromium
Although chromium is a major ingredient in weight loss diets, it does wonders in healing skin infections. By including a chromium supplement in your diet at least once in a day, you can heal your pimples quickly and also prevent future breakouts.
5) Avoid Make-Up
Leaving make-up on your skin will only add to the pimples, blackheads and clogging of the pores. In case you need to apply makeup, ensure that it is a water-based product.
